Loxone brings lighting, heating, blinds, audio, security and energy together into one system you control from a wall, from an app, or not at all — because, set up properly, it quietly runs itself. We’re a Loxone Partner installer covering Watford and north-west London, and we handle the whole job: the design, the first-fix wiring, the Miniserver, the programming and the training that makes it all make sense.
The part that matters most is where the thinking happens. Loxone processes everything locally, on a Miniserver inside your house — not in someone else’s cloud. That means no monthly subscription, no features quietly switched off when a start-up folds, and a home that keeps working when the broadband drops. Your data stays home.
When you need it
The pillars
Every light grouped into scenes — “Cooking”, “Film”, “Away” — and dimmed to suit. Presence sensors bring hallways up gently at night and switch empty rooms off on their own, so you’re never paying to light a room nobody’s in.
Room-by-room control of underfloor, radiators and heat pumps. Loxone learns how long each room takes to warm, heats only the spaces in use, and eases off when it reads an open window or a mild forecast — comfort where you are, not everywhere at once.
Motorised blinds, curtains and awnings that track the sun to keep rooms cool in summer and let warmth in through winter. They lift for the morning, close at dusk, and play their part in holiday presence simulation.
Door and motion sensors, cameras, intercom and smart locks on the same brain as everything else. “Away” locks up, arms the alarm and drops the heating in one tap; a doorbell press can pause the music and light the hall.
The Loxone Audioserver streams independently to any room — kitchen radio, a garden party, a gentle wake-up that ramps the volume and opens the blinds. It doubles as your announcement and doorbell-chime system too.
Ties your solar, battery, EV charger and tariff together so the car and hot water fill up on the cheapest, greenest power you have. Live consumption on the app shows exactly where your electricity is going.

Timeline & pricing
Retrofit projects typically start around £5,000 for a kitchen and living-room zone (lighting, audio and a single climate controller). A whole-house renovation is usually £15,000–£30,000 for a typical Watford four-bed, and a new build or full integration — lighting, HVAC, blinds, multiroom audio, security and energy — can reach £50k+. Every quote is itemised by room and system so you can stage it in phases and add to it later.
Certified properly
All the wiring behind it is installed and certified to BS 7671 like any other electrical work, and we notify Building Control under Part P wherever it’s needed. The Loxone kit itself is CE / UKCA-marked low-voltage control gear. And because it runs locally, nothing about your home leaves the Miniserver unless you deliberately switch on remote access — and even then, it’s yours to turn back off.
